Here's the latest pics of Bubzilla:

And according to the scan, we're having a..................BABY!! Hee hee, it's still a surprise. Sorry :)
And finally, a few things I have learned since getting pregnant:
- You can feel sick and want to eat at the same time.
- You are quite impressed with yourself for growing a real live baby, while also sometimes feeling pudgy and frumpy.
- You're every desire can be played off as "what the baby wants/needs" - but only the first time around. Husbands get wise to this quickly.
- We first-time moms get showered with lots of lovely attention, while second(etc.)-time moms get far too little. Oh sure, try doing it all again with a demanding toddler, and a baby who acts nothing like your first one!
- You feel pleased and yet very weirded out when something starts moving inside you. Sci-fi movies come to mind.
- For those months modesty becomes a thing of the past - at least where medical professionals are concerned. "Take off what so you can examine what? Oh sure, why not."

The pregnant and newly-labored moms in my life are A) hilarious and refreshingly un-mushy, but B) reinforcing my desire to avoid pregnancy indefinitely! Good story, though, and of course so glad to hear everything is going well!
Thanks :) It's definitely not for everyone. I could possibly see you going the international adoption route someday if the urge arose - if it's not been done to death by celebrities by then, of course.
Just a quick note to say that I laughed so hard at this post I had to read the whole thing to Tim :) Hope you're enjoying all the good and the bad that comes with pregnancy and if you ever get the chance (while you're still pregnant) to read A Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy, I would highly recommend it for some more good laughs!

It is truly amazing how much you NEVER forget....just which pregnancy did it happen with???
I had a wonderful chat with your Mom last night as we were in the new members class together and I would have definitely eaten more if I could have used the pregnancy excuse!!!
Take care and enjoy this time as much as you can....these 9 mo of sr yr of high school are going by way faster than 9 mo of pregnancy!
